For example, if the property is scheduled to end at 2:00PM and someone bids at 1:59PM, the bidding is automatically extended for 5 minutes with a new end time of 2:04PM. Each time the auction goes under 5 minutes, it is eligible to extend. This allows you time to bid again if you so choose. This mimics a live auction, as once the bidding is exhausted and the last bid is received, then the time will tick down and the auction will end. This makes it fair to all bidders. There is also an EXTEND-ALL feature. If one lot gets a bid in the last 5 minutes, all properties will extend at the same time..
